Making Mental Health More Accessible
Manttaq aims to expand access to ethical, evidence-informed, and culturally responsive mental health support.
Therapeutic Services
Accessible and low-cost mental health support, provided through collaborative clinical arrangements including engagement with the Centre for Clinical Psychology and Fairway Clinic. We offer psychological assessment and therapy for all ages, and our approach is informed by the cultural, familial, and social context that a person lives within.
Areas of support include anxiety, depression, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive difficulties, alongside broader psychological and psychosocial concerns. Sessions are available in Lahore and online.

Education & Training
Manttaq collaborates with academic institutions to create opportunities for learning, training, professional development, and practical exposure. Our engagement includes:
- Internship programmes
- Student learning opportunities
- Workshops and professional trainings
- Capacity-building activities
- Psychoeducational programmes
- Academic discussions and multidisciplinary learning
We work with the Centre for Clinical Psychology at the University of the Punjab on internship and learning opportunities, and deliver workshops and trainings with a range of government and private universities.

Research
We conduct and support research involving diverse and marginalized populations. Our research vision is for work that is ethically rigorous, socially relevant, inclusive of underrepresented populations, culturally responsive, and connected to real-world mental health needs.
Community Outreach
Manttaq seeks to reduce the barriers that prevent people from accessing mental health knowledge and support. Through outreach we aim to increase mental health awareness, provide accessible psychoeducation, support underserved communities, organize mental health camps, develop low-cost service opportunities, and build partnerships with community and healthcare organizations.
Our mental health camps are conducted in collaboration with Fairway Clinic.
Culturally Responsive Psychology
We explore locally meaningful approaches to psychological wellbeing, drawing on indigenous knowledge, Punjabi culture and local narratives, local languages and expressions of distress, and collective and family-based understandings of what it means to get better.
